Accessibility Awareness for beginners
This Accessible Belper video from 2020 is a great introduction for beginners to learn what accessibility actually means in practice. Presented by Siobhan Fennell (BEM), it includes a number of fun but thought-provoking exercises about we mean by disability and the social barriers faced by disabled people that often have nothing to do with their personal health conditions. There’s also an excellent metaphor to help understand dementia. The video lasts about 45 mins although you may want to add more time for pauses if you want to complete the exercises.
